After a long day of work on Monday, I ran by Hen House after my last work meeting to see if I could check out deals at Hen House.
Here is a picture of what I bought tonight... any guess on how much it cost?
$18 dollars for ALLLLLL of this!!!!
Hen House has an interesting coupon policy. They do double coupons up to $1, but it does appear their policy states they will only do 2 like items per order. I tested it... they will do more than 2 per order.Generally, I do NOT go overboard with coupons no matter what store I am shopping to be fair to other shoppers and to NOT create attention to myself. I drive past enough of my favorite deal stores on the way home (CVS, Target, and now Hen House) that I can do multiple trips per week on the way home from work.
The items I ended up with for FREE (my favorite word) are:
(4) French's Mustards
(4) Betty Crocker Frosting
(1) Betty Crocker Muffin Mix (wasn't sure if my Q would make it free, it did)
The awesome deals of this trip:
(4) Birds Eye Steam Fresh Veggies... 7 cents each
(4) Betty Crocker Potatoes ... 26 cents each
(3) Daisy Sour Cream..... 48 cents each
(4) Pillsbury Grands Frozen Biscuits... 98 cents each (lots of great flavors)
The Totino's Pizzas were a pretty good price... 84 cents each.
I'll be going back on Tuesday for more of these great deals before the sale ends. I think I have a new favorite store!! The cashier was commending me on my total. I did this in 2 transactions, fyi.
