I have a question about the Venus razor promotion. It was $8.99, and they were offering a $6 rewards, and I have a $2.00 off Manufacturers coupon. I also got the 3 of the jiffy peanut butter and one smucker jelly. they were 2/$4. I then had manufacturers coupons for the peanut butter and jelly. I then got febreeze 2/$5 and had a coupon for that. I then got 3 bounty paper towels with a walgreens coupon, and had manufacturer coupon for those also. When I got up the the register I was told I couldn't get the register awards because that I had too many coupons. So the manager gave me my money back for the razor and gave me my coupon back. This was the first time i tried to get register awards, and is this normal? Should I try another Walgreens, or is this one of those cases where i drop the stuff in the car and go back in to do another transaction? Thanks
I would try another Walgreens. That is BS that they said you had too many coupons. I've done WAY more Qs than that in one transaction before.
I would also contact Walgreens Corporate and let them know in a very diplomatic way.
Incompetence sounds like it was prevelant here. Sorry you experienced that!
Well, I did email them about this. I also did some more looking online, and found their coupon policy, and it said nothing about using a manufacturer coupon with a RR or too many coupons. Lazy manager.

I thought I would let you know what happened. I got a call from the Store manager. He was really sorry. He said that the register was not printing out the rewards to anyone. So he told me to come back in and i would get the register rewards. I went in the next day. The duty manager that told me I had too many coupons had to give me the register rewards. I could tell that he recognized me, and he apologized. He took a big dose of crow.
