I started teaching a class not long ago on how to get the best deals on groceries, clothing, gifts, etc. I told the classes, if you want to cut costs but don't want to cut coupons, STOP eating out... plan your weekly/monthly menus. You will save immediately by doing this... shop for your weekly or bi-weekly menu.

As for now, here is our weekly menu:
Mon Spaghetti
Tue Nacho Corn Chowder and ham sammies
Wed Dorito Casserole
Thu Leftovers
Fri Baked Potatoe Soup, Chicken Tortilla Soup- having friends over for a Christmas get-together...they are bringing either appetizer or desserts.
Sat Maybe out to eat (with a gift card, of course!)
